Product Overview:
The KC9607A is a low-noise amplifier module designed specifically for ultra-low frequency to high frequency wideband applications. Operating from 1kHz to 8000MHz, it features high gain, low noise, and strong anti-interference capabilities. It is suitable for use with near-field probes, KC980 series antennas, and other equipment to enhance the sensitivity of test systems. It is widely used in electromagnetic compatibility testing, RF test, signal analysis, and other fields.
Features:
1.Ultra-Low Frequency Operation Capability: Supports amplification of ultra-low frequency signals down to 1kHz, compatible with near-field probes and low-frequency antennas, compensating for their insufficient high-frequency gain.
2.Wideband High Gain and Low Noise: Typical gain 22dB~10dB, noise figure as low as 3.0dB, excellent noise performance among ultra-wideband amplifiers.
3.Full-band compatibility: Perfectly matches KC980A/R/B/C/S series antennas and near-field probes, achieving full-band signal enhancement.
4.Multiple protection design: Built-in ESD protection and input limiter, supports wide operating temperature (-40℃~+60℃), adaptable to harsh environments.
Specifications:
Frequency range: 9kHz-8000MHz (guaranteed operation up to 5kHz, actual support 1kHz)
Typical gain: 22dB~10dB (dynamically adjusted with frequency)
Output power (P1dB): 10dBm (typical value)
Noise figure (NF): 3.0dB
RF interface: SMA female connector (hole)
Power supply voltage: 4-6V (USB interface) or 10-16V (power socket)
Operating temperature: -40℃~+60℃
【Application Scenarios】
Electromagnetic compatibility testing: Used with near-field probes for testing. PCB and Chip Radiation.
Antenna Signal Enhancement: Improves the receiving sensitivity of the KC980 series antennas in the low-frequency band.
RF test and Teaching Experiments: Used for broadband signal amplification and noise optimization.
Scientific Research and Military Applications: Ultra-wideband signal acquisition and weak signal analysis.
【Instructions for Use】
Power Supply: Can be powered via USB or an external power adapter (choose one).
Connection Recommendations: Connect the RF interface first, then power on. Avoid hot-plugging. Do not connect outdoor antennas during thunderstorms.
Gain Selection Tips: When used as a preamplifier, the gain must match the subsequent system losses. 10-20dB is recommended. Excessive gain may cause blocking or intermodulation interference.
【Precautions】
Although it has built-in ESD protection, you still need to contact the connector housing to discharge static electricity before connecting. The ultra-low frequency amplifier has a large coupling capacitance; strictly avoid disassembling or assembling the connector while it is powered on.
If ultra-low frequency functionality is not required, you can choose the KC9601B (starting from 10MHz, NF 1.1dB) or KC9601C (starting from 100MHz, NF 1.2dB) with lower noise.
