1. What is an expansion board?
In the menu HARD-SW antenna, switch the external antenna type
choose 50 ohm system and high impedance Hi-z antenna input system.
Optimum matching of the signals can significantly improve the receiving sensitivity.
For the low frequency receiving image problem, this expansion board adds a four-stage filter between 500KHz-4.5MMHz, which can improve the image problem well.
In addition.  the expansion board adds a PE4312 attenuator, which can be adjusted through the malachite ATT option value, which greatly improves the receiving dynamic range of the malachite receiver.
2. Why choose the expansion board?
The expansion board can improve the sensitivity of the rod antenna,
add attenuators, and reduce image interference.
After installation, when the short-wave medium-wave mode is turned on,
there will be a click of the relay action, and the signal will be significantly enhanced.
